One area I think we have lost control over is regulations. The laws to help govern the new toys we are so excited to buy lags behind and waits for something disastrous to happen before anything can be done about it. Since we are not designed to predict the future, there should be pre-planning developmental stages required on everything that's projected onto the public stage that may have a negative outcome.
The Sunday comic today (June 7, 2009) is a rare angle for Compu-toon. It's the only caveman setting I've ever done. The term "trying to reinvent the wheel" has been used a lot lately and it makes me think of the beginning of time. The development of things. I hope to explore this angle more in the upcoming panels.
I'm presently involved in several projects:
• The KeyPad Kid Project
• KPK Coloring Book
• Consultanting student journalists
• Barrington Cultural Arts Center (Board
Member)
• Youth Communication Chicago ( Board
Member)
• Working on several exhibitions
• Compiling an update of the:
Compu-toon Collection Book
